The tool leads users step by step through the design process. The status bar provides a constant update on the static load utilisation of the selected fischer installation system. Users can design generic or more complex installations as required. A quick selection menu provides static proofs for ten different standard solutions with consoles, frames and channels. Alternatively, the design process can be also be initiated by preselecting the desired installation system while individually determining the cross-section of the channels and the length or distance of the support points.
Users can subsequently define the type, diameter, insulation and quantity of pipes to be carried by the installation system. Pipes and channels that are either empty or filled with media can be entered in the graphic depiction of the support system. This automatically generates load models, therefore providing the required static proofs for the channel systems. In addition, individual loads such as for an air conditioning unit or a compressor can be directly entered through freely definable points or linear loads. In addition to a verifiable printout, the programme also generates a parts list of the required components for the selected system including suspending brackets, threaded rods, channels, pipe clamps and connectors.
Overall, fischer’s FIXPERIENCE comprises engineering software and specific application modules for all the main trades. Professionals can therefore plan entire projects as well as individual applications in a targeted manner and at minimum cost. Entering the values into the toolbox makes measuring significantly easier. The respective outcomes are displayed in real time in the results window. Clear language and symbols make the programme easy to understand. One-click input of any numbers that require changing make it easy to operate the software. There is an option to show or hide all windows, such as the product information window. Users can also choose between 3D or 2D graphical depictions. The graphics can be rotated by 360 degrees, pivoted, tilted or zoomed in on using a mouse.
The programme is able to identify input errors as well as geometric conditions and provides corresponding information in a notification box. This enables users to achieve their “valid measurement” target as fast as possible. Verifiable printouts allow users to follow every step of the programme’s calcula-tions, providing them with the security of having documents that are completely comprehensible. The application modules include the automatic detection of the right wind and snow pressure zones through the user’s postcode. Alternatively, the zone or the applicable load can also be entered manually.
fischer FIXPERIENCE also takes into account the increasing internationalisation and international activities of multiple planners and construction firms. The integration of European technical assessments in the individual modules with several corresponding national attachments enables planners to work on international assignments in accordance with prevailing rules. The software is valid across Europe in regard to technical approvals (ETAG 001 and EC2 in addition to the new EN 1992-4, as well as EC1, EC3 and EC5), including the national application documents. Users have an unrestricted choice between all the usual load and measurement units.
The manual or automatic “live update” function constantly keeps users up to date. With the FIXPERIENCE design software, fischer is setting new standards in terms of user friendliness and service.

fischer FIXPERIENCE: the following modules are available
C-FIX: For designing steel and bonded anchors in concrete and in masonry. The same surfaces are available for both options.
REBAR-FIX: For measuring post installed rebar connections in reinforced concrete construction with the option of creating verifiable proof.
MORTAR-FIX: For determining mortar volumes for bonded anchors in concrete and masonry – including post installed rebar connec-tions.
WOOD-FIX: For the fast design of wood connections and reinforcements with fischer screws, including the determination of wind and snow pressure zones.
INSTALL-FIX: For the design of installation systems including suitable anchors and documentation; operates through graphic input and determines the required quantities of individual elements.
FACADE-FIX: The programme module for designing anchorings of rear-ventilated facade constructions made of timber.
RAIL-FIX: The solution for the fast design of anchorings for both indoor and outdoor handrails, railings and stair railings. New: now includes the option to design steel components such as handrails and balusters as well as the connections between the anchor plates, bracing and balusters. Also includes the determination of the required anchor plate thickness.
