Insert, rotate, finished – that’s how quick it is to safely install service ducts with the FUS, such as pipes, ventilation ducts and cable trays. The channel system FUS is the core piece and is offered by fischer in heights of 21, 41 and 62 mm in addition to double design heights. It can quickly and easily be assembled into the desired system with the help of the preassembled connector and construction elements. Numerous multifunctional components increase the flexibility and save users from having to purchase, store and install a large number of individual parts, which in turn saves time and effort during installation. These include the angle bracket PWK, the variable bracket PVB, the connector element PFUF, the universal bracket PUWS, the channel connector PFUF OC, the bracing element PSAE with the washer PU, the saddle flange PSF as well as the connecting elements PFFF, PFAF and PFUS 3D and 4D.

The availability of the entire broad range of products in a corrosion-resistant variant is a new feature. This includes the FUS channels as well as other elements and connectors in hot-dip galvanised variants as well as all construction elements and connectors in a corrosion-resistant coating. These variants are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and in environments with high material stress through corrosion with a resistance in accordance with  DIN EN ISO 9227 salt spray test >480h. Optimised coating thicknesses guarantee the components‘ reliable function while the thread mobility is unrestricted by the optimised coating thicknesses.

Special technology provides a high level of safety during installation. The push-through connector PFCN 41 for instance features a specially shaped washer that firmly and safely fixes the component in position. In addition, the spring effect guarantees the precise positioning in the channel while the high-strength screw provides additional safety during installation. The teeth on the channel and channel nut provide a form-fit and therefore particularly powerful connection. The component can be adjusted before being fixed in place by pressing and pushing. The four corner beads and the channel’s teeth provide a firm hold to the construction elements in addition to optimal load transfer. Scaling helps precisely cut the channels to size and position the connectors. The systems are fire-proof and can therefore be used in emergency escape routes and for fire-proof fixings with a fire resistance duration of up to 120 minutes.
