Balcony rails, balustrades, gates, stairs and facades – elements such as these need a representative appearance down to their fixings. This is where fischer’s bolt anchor FAZ II H makes use of its advantages.
This bolt anchor is the world’s first to receive an assessment (ETA) with a cup nut. Its rounded head shape prevents injuries during assembly and has a representative design element effect. The FAZ II H is available in eight different variants in diameters of M 10 (95 and 105 mm length) and M12 (110 and 120 mm length) as well as in zinc-plated or A4 stainless steel. The anchor is installed using the push-through method of installation, with the optional use of a placement template or a hexagonal nut. After installing and removing the optional hexagonal nut, the cup nut is screwed on over the protruding thread. Next, simply anchor the fixing – and done.
The bolt anchor FAZ II scores points overall through its high load-bearing in cracked concrete and its suitability for numerous fixing jobs in various trades. Most recent develop-ments also include the FAZ II M6 – the market’s first bolt anchor with a diameter of just 6 mm with an ETA option 1 for cracked concrete. It is suitable for fixture thicknesses of 10 and 20 mm. The small diameter and short anchoring depth of just 40 mm saves the user time, cost and effort. Loads are therefore reliably absorbed with little effort.
The new official assessment (ETA) also increases the tensile load capacities of sizes M8 to M12 in cracked concrete by up to 10 percent, and the shear load capacities by an average of 17 percent, in some cases even up to 150 percent. This results in quicker, more comfortable installation with fewer anchoring points and reduced costs. The new ETA also allows a variable anchoring depth in the sizes M8 to M16. It can now be precisely finetuned according to the respective load requirement. This allows numerous fixing jobs with shorter plugs, a smaller drilling depth and thinner concrete components to be implemented, saving both effort and money. The new ETA also comprises diamond set holes from size M8 onwards with the same loads as hammer drilling.
