For many years China has invested substantial amounts of money in the extension of its infrastructure. A major part of these investments goes into the expansion of the local and
regional railway capacities. Only recently the National Development and Reform Commission approved a comprehensive scheme for the extension of several subway and metro lines in some mega-cities, such as Beijing, Tianjin, Shenzhen and Ningbo.

One of the products most in demand is the fischer Zykon undercut anchor FZA. On the Chinese railroad construction sites it is used for the fixing of cable brackets, especially those of the catenary. The special undercut technology allows for a positive fit connection and ensures maximum safety. Once the anchor has been placed in the drill hole, the expansion sleeve is driven over the cone using the FZE Plus setting tool, and the undercut drill hole is filled with a positive fit.

For the fixing of the essential tube evacuation platforms the fischer Highbond anchor FHB II is used, either in combination with the appropriate injection mortar or with the fast and easy to use resin capsules. When setting the anchor, which is offered in short and long versions, the rod cones are pulled into the mortar shell, which expands against the drill hole wall.

At underground projects a lot of pipeline routes have to be installed, for example electrical lines or ventilation pipes. Being used for the Chinese railroad projects the fischer SaMontec installation system proves to be enormously flexible. The FUS push-through system is especially easy to install making weld-ing and drilling superfluous. The construction combines screw, washer, channel nut and spring in one unit. fischer has de-veloped its highly flexible installation grid from the individual components of SaMontec. Moreover, the system meets all fire protection requirements to guarantee a fire-proof installation of both single lines and pipe routes.
