The new Quattric II provides increased drilling progress and durability at the same market level price in comparison to the previous fischer hammer drill with SDS plus shank. This development increases the average speed by 18 percent, improves durability in concrete by 25 percent and attains approximately 150 percent higher durability when hitting concrete reinforcements.
Drilling is accelerated through solid cutting edges made of carbide. The two-part Multi-Value drill helix also ensures rapid and effortless progress and increased durability. The corresponding speed-design element with its lean back side ensures reduced friction and faster drilling. The heavy-duty design element with its strong back width meanwhile structurally reinforces the core and protects against material breakdowns and faster wear. The reinforced core piece additionally increases the stability while drilling.
Its solid carbide tip head makes the Quattric II robust against wear and increases tool life. Wear marks in the drill head indicate the wear limit in accordance with PGM (Prüfgemeinschaft Maurerbohrer), therefore indicating whether the tool is still suitable for drilling holes that are perfectly suited for plugs. This procedure increases the process safety. Reinforcement chamfers in the drill head also prevent jamming in reinforcements and make it easier to drill in reinforced concrete. The power shoulders optimise its reinforcement suitability and improve the drill’s breakup performance in concrete.
The sharp centring tip facilitates exact positioning and point accurate spot drilling. This also prevents slipping on smooth surfaces. The drill is manufactured in Germany and features the PGM quality seal for certified production and quality as well as verifiably secure plug connection in concrete, reinforced concrete, solid brick and sand-lime brick. The Quattric II can also be used in natural stone.
