Waldachtal

Working where others go on vacation - our headquarters in Waldachtal makes this possible. Waldachtal consists of the villages of Tumlingen (headquarters), Cresbach, Hörschweiler, Lützenhardt and Salzstetten. Our fischertechnik division is based in Salzstetten. 

The villages are surrounded by extensive forests and meadows and offer numerous leisure and sports facilities. Smaller towns within a radius of 35 kilometres include Freudenstadt, Dornstetten, Rottenburg, Horb am Neckar, Herrenberg and Nagold. Larger towns within a radius of 65 km are the university town of Tübingen, Calw, the state capital Stuttgart and its catchment areas of Böblingen and Sindelfingen. You can reach Lake Constance, Germany's largest lake, within an hour's drive on the motorway. Karlsruhe in the Rhine Valley in Baden and Strasbourg/Alsace are also nearby and popular excursion destinations with a journey time of one to one and a half hours. 

More than 1,300 employees work in Waldachtal and ensure the global availability of our products: fischer develops, produces and sells fastening systems in Tumlingen and delivers them all over the world. In addition, the IT and Digital Services, Corporate Communications, Finance and Legal, Controlling, Facility Management, Human Resources and Marketing departments, which are active throughout the group of companies, are located at the Tumlingen site.
