GreenLine product launch: fischer is the first manufacturer to offer fixing products made from over 50 per cent renewable resources

DuoPower product launch: the two-component plastic fixing element wich autonomously decides whether to spread or fold in the substrate

2016

Prof. Klaus Fischer receives the Global DIY Lifetime Award: The international trade and manufacturers´associations, EDRA an Fediyma present the award, honouring his "outstanding contribution to the DIY sector worldwide"
In November 2016 the Club 55 “European Community of Experts in Marketing and Sales” honoured Prof. Klaus Fischer with the “Lifetime Award” for his lifetime achievement

2017

LNT Automation becomes the fifth division of the fischer Group of Companies. It is renamed fischer Electronic Solutions in 2021
Prof. Klaus Fischer steps back from the operational management of the fischer Group of Companies. As owner, he remains CEO of the Holding and Chairman of the Advisory Board

Prof. Klaus Fischer is awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Padua, Italy. He is also made an 
honorary citizen of the city of Jagodina, Serbia

The fischer Trainee House is built for apprentices and dual degree course students in the immediate vicinity of the Tumlingen site
The subsidiaries fischer Benelux and fischer Austria celebrate their 50th anniversary
