Solar energy is a steady source of readily available, renewable and sustainable energy. It’s a trend that’s becoming increasingly popular in the building and living sectors. In order to fasten solar panel systems to roofs and facades, the fixing specialist fischer offers solar and facade systems, as well as the accompanying services to ensure the success of a project. The company will be showcasing its latest products at the Intersolar Europe trade fair between 19 and 21 June 2024 at booth A5.413 in hall A5.

The fixing specialist fischer will be in the midst of the action at the world’s leading exhibition for the solar industry, Intersolar Europe. The exhibitor will be showcasing its innovative system solutions for fastening photovoltaic modules (PV modules) to roofs and facades in hall A5, where the fixing expert will be presenting its solar systems with which installers can master various fastening situations while installing solar panels on roofs, from smaller installations around the home to large-scale industrial facilities. The company recognised the trend towards photovoltaic energy generation as early on as 2006. fischer’s Italian subsidiary developed fixing systems for PV systems in close cooperation with fischer’s solar experts around the globe.

With the current international rollout of its solar systems, fischer is drawing on almost 18 years of valuable experience and successful projects. Real-life exhibits at fischer’s booth demonstrate the systems’ application on roofs with tile, fibre cement, standing seam and trapezoidal sheet metal covers. Rails, roof hooks, brackets, stud screws and other accessories form ideal system solutions for solar engineers and suppliers of PV modules and systems. Clever designs and technical ingenuities enable a flexible range of applications as well as quick and simple installation without the need for specialist tools or major alterations to the roof. Another advantage is the high quality of the products, which guarantee lasting safety and functionality of the installation throughout its entire lifespan. The complete range comprises products for pitched roofs with various cover materials and different PV module layouts and alignments. The systems are also compatible with different cover materials, such as roof tiles, fibre cement panels, trapezoidal or standing seam sheet metal, as well as sealing sheets.

Additional wall exhibits demonstrate how fischer facade systems can be used to create lasting and secure solar facades. Among the products being shown are the new PV clips for positioning on the edge or the centre of the field along with the FSMN M8 R connector, with advantages including simple application, sophisticated technology and cost-effectiveness. Minimal joints are required between the PV modules, resulting in a uniform surface when combined with concealed fastenings. Restraint-free installation and load-optimised designs ensure a technically sound implementation. Thanks to simple and flexible installation on various substrates and substructures, PV systems are particularly cost-effective and user-friendly to implement.

Horizontal ATK 103 PV clasp profiles used together with vertical carrier profiles will also be exhibited. PV modules can be hooked into the open C-profile of these horizontal elements with pre-mounted clasps attached to the back. Pre-mounting the clasps with special screws that precisely fit the horizontal profile enables quick progress on the construction site. With its substructures for PV modules, fischer facilitates the construction of an aesthetically appealing and safe structure with a sustainable energy source.

fischer also offers the new SOLARPANEL-FIX software as part of its fischer FiXperience Suite for planning and calculating installation systems for solar panels. Visitors at Intersolar can experience for themselves how the practical tool generates a full parts list for creating the PV substructure, assembly instructions as well as verification of the calculations in just a few steps after all the necessary parameters have been entered. By locating the construction site through geolocalisation, the software automatically calculates snow and wind loads, among other things. A logical input structure and further features make the application easy to use.

At an additional consultation counter, the fixing specialist will be speaking to visitors about its comprehensive range of services for planning and installing solar panel systems on roofs and facades. Support options include planning and design as well as on-site support until the project’s successful completion. Impressive reference projects meanwhile demonstrate the company’s extensive expertise in implementing solar facades around the world.

The advantages of fischer solar systems are conveyed in an authentic and realistic manner through videos featuring Jürgen Klopp. The successful coach has been diving into the world of fischer fixings as the company’s Brand Ambassador since early 2023, with videos featuring Jürgen Klopp trying out the new solar systems for roof installation, which will also be presented at Intersolar.

For more than 30 years, Intersolar Europe has been providing a networking opportunity for the key players in the solar industry – from manufacturers, suppliers and distributors to installers, service providers, project developers, planners and start-ups – all under the motto “Connecting Solar Business”. The exhibition focuses on the latest trends, developments and business models. More than 1,370 exhibitors are expected to attend the next fair on an area of 111,000 m². Intersolar Europe is being held at Messe München as part of The smarter E Europe, Europe’s largest alliance of exhibitions for the energy industry, and is expected to attract over 115,000 visitors.
