fischer will be attending InnoTrans, the leading international trade fair for transport technology, which takes place from 24 to 27 September in Berlin. The company will be making its debut at this trade fair by presenting its system solutions and services for infrastructure and tunnel construction projects at booth 865 in hall 5.2.

fischer will be attending the InnoTrans trade fair for the first time. The provider of solutions for infrastructure and tunnel construction projects will be showcasing its range of services at booth 865 in hall 5.2. Innovations by fisco GmbH will be on display, which is fully owned by the fischer Group of Companies. fisco specialises in manufacturing and processing fibre composite materials through pultrusion production.

A tunnel model with a fisco disembarking platform displayed at the booth demonstrates the advantages of fi:resist, an inorganic glass fibre-reinforced composite material. This material is lightweight, stable, non-combustible, highly resilient, heat, corrosion and UV-resistant, electrically non-conductive and permeable to radio signals with low thermal conductivity. Unlike conventional GRP materials, fi:resist meets fire regulations in tunnels, including in rail infrastructure applications, due to being non-combustible with an A1 certification according to DIN EN 13501. fisco specialises in safety-critical system solutions, including service routes, railings and handrails in addition to boarding and disembarking platforms. The advantages of glass fibre-reinforced composite materials used in rail infrastructure can now be used in tunnel applications for the first time thanks to fisco’s material technology.

A ramp system by fisco will also be displayed at fischer’s booth. The fisco ramp system guarantees accessible boarding and disembarking in subways, commuter trains, trams and at bus stops. With its modular setup, the system solution is suitable for almost any structural condition at the stations as well as the requirements of the customer and project. Made of GRP, the lightweight ramps are easy to install, offer a high degree of certified slip protection, and are hard-wearing, weather and chemical-resistant and resilient. They are particularly user-friendly thanks to their very low leading edge. An innovative fixing method enables quick and secure fastening to various floors while only requiring a few fastening points in the substrate and enabling flexible drill positioning to avoid hitting reinforcements. At InnoTrans, fisco’s experts will showcase how they assist customers from the initial idea and development to manufacturing and providing on-site support, no matter whether it’s an individual profile or a system solution.

As the world’s technological market leader in key areas of fastening technology, fischer will be presenting its fastening products at InnoTrans through reference projects in addition to installation, cast-in channel and FireStop systems and much more for infrastructure and tunnel construction – including custom and project-specific product developments. fischer will be showcasing an exhibit on overhead wiring installation using its FHB II Highbond system, demonstrating the advantages of the system solution with FHB II-A S anchor rods combined with FHB II-PF HIGH SPEED resin capsules and the FIS HB 360 S Highbond special mortar. The fischer Highbond system safely distributes high loads in concrete through various suitable system components, requiring fewer fixing points and smaller anchor plates, for example during overhead wiring installation and many other rail infrastructure applications.

The exhibitor will also be speaking to visitors about fischer’s accompanying range of services that range from consultation and design services, approval procedures and training all the way to on-site briefing and installation support. Various engineering services such as calculations, surveys, BIM modelling, CAD and fire protection services are also offered. Digital fischer innovations include in-house design software, an extensive BIM service offer, automated construction with the fischer BauBot construction robot and connected fastening products in the Internet of Things. The company thereby supports its customers from the planning and implementation phase through to the project’s successful completion.
