Fastening expert fischer turned its innovations in the technical building services sector into a live experience at the ISH fair on booth B49 in hall 6.1. With its innovations, its product test area, and its craftsmen's challenge, the exhibitor made a lasting impression. The company presented a wide range of fastening and installation solutions for the building services industry on more than 150 m². Many additions to the product range celebrated their trade fair premiere. Installation systems for all media conduits, fix points and sliding elements, all-in-one systems for flat roof installations and fire-proof pipe supports and conduit installations were the focal points.
"Our trade fair appearance at the ISH was very successful," summarises Michael Geiszbühl, Managing Director of fischer Deutschland Vertriebs GmbH. "We exchanged ideas with numerous visitors about our new fastening and installation products for the building services industry and current industry trends. We gained promising follow-up activities, valuable feedback and important insights from the intensive discussions with new prospects and long-standing customers." The hourly craftsmen's challenge, moderated by Marlen Schmid, Project Manager International Sales at the fischer group of companies, and Michael Heun, Head of the fischer group of companies' Academy, was a crowd-puller. Two teams of two competed against each other to build a model within a limited time using the fischer angle bracket fire-tested PUWF and other products and win attractive prizes. The hands-on area also attracted numerous visitors to the fischer ISH trade fair booth. The opportunity to try out intelligent DuoLine plugs with an innovative combination of materials and the UltraCut FBS II concrete screw for themselves was widely utilized.
The large real exhibit, which illustrated the advantages of fischer installation systems, attracted a lot of attention. The fully hot-dip galvanised fischer heavy-duty system FMS and the modular fischer universal channel system FUS were installed. The FMS replaces the need for secondary steel construction during heavy installations, thereby reducing costs by up to 30 per cent. With the FUS, medium to heavy pipe systems can be fastened using rapid push-through connections for the mounting rails. It was also shown how FUS channels can be used to create and flexibly convert, and reorganise installation grids for media connections in factories, production facilities and similar buildings. Another topic at the fischer booth: the light channel system FLS, with which lightweight loads can be fastened using a simple ‘Clix’ mechanism.
This year, fischer focussed on fireproof products and systems for technical building services applications (MLAR, R30 - R120 or F30 - F120 and ETA 21/0140). With these problem solvers, pipe fixings and pipe installations in escape and rescue routes can be designed to withstand fire. This can save lives. The focus was also on fischer fix points and sliding elements that absorb thermally induced expansions of light to heavy pipes. Even with strong temperature fluctuations, high system temperatures, and large-scale installations, structures remain intact thanks to these solutions. The broad fischer product range covers a wide variety of requirements and applications.
Innovative fischer all-in-one systems for flat roof installations, which avoid high loads on the roof sealing and insulation layer through targeted load distribution, also attracted a great deal of attention. This prevents surface damage. Also on display was the new PV clip system for the secure, simple, quick, and visually appealing attachment of framed PV modules to all common substrates and substructures.
The exhibitor had extensive discussions with visitors about its 360-degree services throughout the life cycle of buildings and facilities. Digital offerings include BIM services (Building Information Modelling), scans as digital tools for as-built surveys, the INSTALL-FIX module within the fischer FiXperience dimensioning software, automated construction with the fischer BauBot construction robot, and efficient monitoring of objects with the fischer Construction Monitoring sensor innovation. fischer supports customers with calculations, assessments, approval procedures, BIM modelling, CAD and fire protection services during the planning phase. During the construction phase, the fastening expert provides support with installation planning, pre-assembly services and training, right through to instruction and support during installation on-site. Flexible, customisable fischer office and storage containers enable customers to optimise logistics and increase efficiency on their construction sites.
