fischer fix points and sliding elements guarantee that pipes work safely and efficiently even under extreme conditions such as strong temperature fluctuations. By using these solutions, constructions remain intact even in the case of high system temperatures and large-scale installations. fischer’s wide range of products covers various requirements and applications.

Pipes can experience significant movement, resulting in damage by expanding in heat and retracting in the cold. Length changes in pipes can be managed in a targeted manner with fischer fix points and sliding elements, preventing pipe defects and damaged components. Variants with a galvanised coating are suitable for installations in buildings.

fischer fix points
fischer fix points are ideal for preventing displacements between pipes and structures in both hot and cold running pipes and for guiding thermal pipe expansions in certain directions. These practical tools come in a compact and variable shape, are fully pre-assembled or part of a modular setup and are available both with or without sound insulation inserts. fischer offers lightweight (FFP-C, FFP-L), medium (FFS-M, FFP-M) and heavy (FFS-H, FFP-H) fix points to suit individual requirements.

The compact FFP-C, FFS-M and FFS-H l variants apply acting forces directly into the building. The medium FFS-M and heavy FFS-H variants are height-adjustable. There are also variable fix points, including the lightweight FFP-L, the medium FFP-M and the heavy FFP-H, which allow the suspension height to be adjusted through one or two-sided bracing with threaded rods.

fischer fix points consist of components of the same thread size and plug holes, ensuring simple installation using the same tools. The height adjustment on the base plate allows precise adjustments to be carried out to adapt to installed pipes, guaranteeing that the fix points are secure. The axial and lateral adjustable bracing angles of the FFP-M22, FFP-M42, FFP-MD2 and FFP-MD4 allow the substrate connection to be adapted to the conditions on site, making installation easier. fischer fix points are used in combination with the fischer FFPC fix point clamp and are suitable for installation in buildings with their zinc-plated coating. The medium versions FFP-M and M2 and the heavy versions FFP-HD22 and - HD42 can also be combined with the FFRC cold fix point.

fischer sliding elements
fischer’s sliding elements are suitable for accommodating pipe expansions. The fischer slide connectors FASC and FASL are ideal for lightweight pipes with a dimension or nominal diameter (DN) of min. 50 for the FASC and min. 100 for the FASL. FASC has a maximum sliding distance of 40 mm. Thanks to sliding distances of 100 to 120 mm and long slide rails, the FASL allows large expansions to be accommodated without issue. The maximum load-bearing capacity of the FASC is 0.7 kN, and 1.5 kN for the FASL. Both slide connectors for lightweight pipes are available with a metric combination thread in diameters of M8/M10 to accommodate pipe clamps of various sizes. FASL is also available with an individual M10 thread. The base plate of the slider is compatible with the FLS and FUS channel systems and can be fastened with just one to two screws.

fischer FASM is a slide connector that accommodates pipe expansions for medium-weight pipes up to min. DN150. Its maximum sliding distance of 100 to 150 mm and long slide rails allow large expansions to be accommodated without issue. It has a maximum load-bearing capacity of 3.0 kN. FASM is available with a metric combination thread in diameters of M10/M12. The base plate of the FASM is compatible with the FUS and FMS channel systems and can be fastened with one or two screws. The cross-connecting function of the FASM can be achieved with the FCSM cross connector as well as with the FASL2 M10.

fischer’s FASH roll connector is suitable for accommodating pipe expansions of heavy pipes up to min DN350. It has a maximum sliding distance of 140 mm and two sliding rollers, allowing large expansions to be accommodated without issue. With a maximum load-bearing capacity of 10.0 kN, fischer offers FASH with a metric combination thread in diameters of M12/M16. The base plate of FASH is compatible with the FUS and FMS channel systems and can be fastened with one or two screws. The cross-connecting function of FASH1 or FASH2 can be achieved with the FCSM cross connector as well as with FASH2. The FASM2 and FASH2 slide connectors offer the advantage of additional safety through verified fire protection.

The fischer FCSM cross connector offers a highly flexible range of applications by accommodating pipe expansions for lightweight to heavy pipes of min DN350. It is a channel connector that can be inserted into any part of the fischer FUS channel. The maximum load-bearing capacity per connector is 5.0 kN, whereas two FCSM must always be used in lateral slider applications. fischer offers the FCSM with a metric M12 thread that goes with the axial connectors.

The FASC, FASL and FASM sliding elements can be used for vertical and suspended installations, while FASM and FASH can also be used as a guide bearing on vertical pipelines. FCSM is suitable for vertical installations. Each variant has a galvanised coating suitable for installation in buildings.

In addition to numerous other services, the company also supports its customers with fire protection services for optimal planning.
