A radiant look for a new church

A modern cube with a characteristic cloud design above the roof terrace is currently being built as a new architectural highlight in Taipei, Taiwan. The structure will be used as a Christian church and congress centre. The façade will be clad with white Dekton tiles which will be held in place by approximately 42,000 fischer undercut anchors.

Safe installation is the word on the ward

The Central Hospital is currently undergoing extensive renovation and expansion in Rovaniemi, the capital of Finland’s northern province of Lapland. The project involves the construction of two new complexes comprising a surface of 20,600 m² and 6,000 m² respectively. The universal channel system FUS by the fischer Group of Companies is being used to fasten the pipes, ventilation ducts and cable trays. In total, 300 different products from fischer’s range of installation and fixing systems and electrical installations will be fitted in the Lapland Central Hospital.

The fixing specialist fischer was presented with the 2021 ZVSHK Award for its new DuoSeal plug. The German Sanitation, Heating and Air Conditioning Association (Zentralverband Sanitär Heizung Klima, ZVSHK) presents the award to innovative bathroom product solutions designed in an exemplary manner that make life signifi-cantly easier. The jury of internationally recognised experts and designers honoured the winning products of 2021 in cooperation with the Design for All – Germany (EDAD) competency network.
