09/08/2021Secure hold for a Bavarian landmark
The Weilheim State Building Authority successfully completed the partial renovation of the Echelsbacher bridge, which crosses the wild river Ammer in southern Bavaria at heights of up to 80 m. The listed Melan-Spangenberg arches were preserved as a supporting frame to create the new arch bridge while the remaining structure was demolished. The fischer injection mortar FIS HB was used together with approx. 2,500 stainless steel fischer FHB II AL M16x160 A4 anchor rods to anchor the specially designed, 2.50 m high steel railings in concrete.
