Prof. Artur Fischer founded the company in 1948, then continued expanding it over time with great success. In 1980, he transferred responsibility for the family business to his son, honorary Prof. Klaus Fischer. He entrusted his son with this responsibility even though he was only 29 years old at the time. Prof. Artur Fischer then dedicated himself to his passion of inventing, developing many new products for the company.
Prof. Artur Fischer always remained loyal and connected to his homeland. Throughout his entire life, he went above and beyond corporate interests to work for the common good and to support young inventors. Numerous awards and honors punctuate his life’s work, a testament to the formidable nature of his discoveries.
The funeral took place on Friday morning at the Tumlingen cemetery, and was attended by close family members. The fischer group of companies grieves with them, and remembers Prof. Artur Fischer with respect and gratitude.
