Many manufacturers are currently developing vehicles powered by hydrogen. The fischertechnik H2 Fuel Cell Car construction kit allows vehicles to be constructed and set in motion using a fuel cell. 

The award-winning H2 Fuel Cell Car construction kit contains 119 parts that can be used to build a futuristic vehicle. This is where the drive comes into play: The accompanying fuel cell is connected using the power adapter to initiate the electrolysis. Distilled water separates into oxygen and hydrogen, which is stored in two labelled containers, illustrating where each gas is contained. As soon as the oxygen tank has been filled, the fuel cell can be placed on the car and connected to the DC motor. The fuel cell now generates an electrical current and the vehicle is ready to get going.
