fischertechnik has gained a new Brand Ambassador with Niklas Kaul. The youngest ever decathlon world champion will be the face of fischertechnik’s campaigns for realistic and exciting STEM lessons over the coming months.

Niklas Kaul and fischertechnik share a common vision: to make STEM subjects accessible, comprehensible and fascinating for pupils of all ages. Kaul, who is studying to become a teacher specialised in physics alongside his impressive sports career, embodies the perfect link between academic knowledge and practical application. It is precisely this link that is reflected in fischertechnik’s teaching materials.

The construction kits and teaching materials by fischertechnik promote pupils’ creative and critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities. The learning concepts by fischertechnik introduce young people to scientific technologies and explain how concepts such as renewable energies work in a playful manner. Team-based projects teach children to tackle challenges and reach beyond themselves, just like the 22-year-old Olympic athlete.

With Niklas Kaul as its Brand Ambassador, fischertechnik demonstrates that learning doesn’t just happen in the classroom, but also by interacting with the real world, be it through sports or by experimenting and researching in STEM lessons.

About Niklas Kaul

Niklas Kaul proved his ability to achieve extraordinary results both on and off the sports field from a young age. As a successful decathlete and budding physics teacher, he is the perfect example of how a passion for sport and science can go hand in hand. His experience in high-performance sports paired with his knowledge from his physics studies makes him a role model for teachers and pupils alike.

The new fischertechnik learning concepts help convey relevant learning objectives in STEM subjects in line with abilities and the curriculum through stimulating and exciting lessons. The learning concepts range from years 1 to 13 in primary and secondary schools through to vocational training and higher education. fischertechnik thereby enables schools of every kind to successfully navigate the digital transformation and deliver future skills. Young people learn skills such as critical thinking, reflective skills, problem-solving, initiative and creativity.

fischertechnik’s reputation for combining successful learning with fun has led teachers and psychologists at the Transfer Center for Neurosciences and Learning (ZNL) to recommend fischertechnik’s educational construction kits for Germany’s Spielen macht Schule school initiative.

In addition to toy sets and educational construction kits specifically designed for school lessons, fischertechnik also offers preassembled, compact function and simulation models for training and demonstration purposes. Training, development or presentations: fischertechnik’s training models are used across the globe for planning and simulations. They can be used to plan, develop and test industrial processes and offer versatile uses, particularly in the field of Industry 4.0.
