fischertechnik can look back on a highly successful appearance at Hannover Messe 2025. As part of the joint booth of 'The Länd' Baden-Württemberg, the company showcased its innovations in industrial education and factory simulation, receiving great acclaim from both trade visitors and political guests.
The Agile Production Simulation (APS) is a fischertechnik factory simulation that brings the processes of flexible, modular production to life. It took centre stage at the trade fair. The simulation consists of intelligently networked modules – such as incoming goods, high-bay warehouse, processing stations, and AI-supported quality assurance – all connected via an automated guided vehicle (AGV). This setup enables realistic and customized simulation of individual production processes.“
„The integration of artificial intelligence, used to analyse workpieces in quality assurance through image recognition, generated particular interest. The Digital Learning Platform – a digital twin of the APS – also impressed with its interactive learning environment, which makes complex topics such as the Internet of Things, machine learning, and agile manufacturing tangible and easy to understand.“
The fischertechnik booth was well attended throughout the event. In addition to trade visitors from industry, education, and research, political representatives from around the world also visited to learn about the innovations from the Black Forest in Southern Germany. The two politicians from the federal state of Baden-Württemberg, Minister of Economic Affairs Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut and Minister of Transport Winfried Hermann, were also impressed by the didactic quality and technical innovation of the fischertechnik systems.
The factory simulations demonstrate the functioning of complex processes at numerous universities and companies and are part of several research series on the application of artificial intelligence. With its appearance at Hannover Messe, the toy and educational materials supplier fischertechnik is emphasising its leading role in technical education and simulated production. At the same time, the company reaffirms its commitment to preparing future specialists for the demands of Industry 4.0.
