Both chemical and mechanical anchors can only attain their guaranteed load-bearing capacity if drill dust has been carefully removed from the bore hole. The user must be protected from inhaling dust during this cleaning process. The hollow drill FHD for all common solid construction materials is a suitable tool for doing so. The drill dust is removed directly at the drilling tip due to the two vacuum holes and the hollow cylindrical shaft. Sharp carbide metal boards ensure a fast drilling progress, while the drill does not get “slowed down” by any drill dust. The hollow drill also spares users from having to clean the drill hole and subsequently the building site. It saves them an immense amount of time overall while protecting their lungs from dangerous dust that contains quartz which originates from drilling and cleaning out bore holes. Cleaning errors don’t even have a chance to occur. Drill dust inside the drill hole impairs the fixing’s performance. Using the hollow drill FHD increases the safety of both the anchoring and the user.
The drill features additional technical benefits, such as a wear mark in the tip of the drill which displays the wear limit, a centring tip for simple positioning and preventing displacement on smooth surfaces in addition to an option to connect conventional SDS Plus and SDS Max hammer drills as well as all conventional M-Class industry vacuum cleaners. The hollow drill is available in diameters of 12 to 35 mm and in working lengths of 200 to 650 mm.
The new fischer hammer drill SDS Plus Quattric II is an eponymous 4-flute drill with an SDS-Plus adapter. It has a higher drilling power compared to its fischer predecessor. It also provides increased durability while drilling in concrete. The carbide metal head (with a dimeter of up to 10 mm), the sharp carbide plates and new two-piece spiral design enable faster drilling and increase the drill’s service life. The reinforced core piece provides additional stability during drilling. Reinforcement chamfers prevent the tip from jamming in the reinforcement while enabling unchecked drilling progress in reinforced concrete. The “Power Shoulder” geometry in the drill head prevents the drill from hitting reinforcements and provides improved performance. Wear marks show whether the tool is still suitable for drilling holes fit for anchors. As well as concrete and reinforced concrete, the Quattric II is also suitable for solid brick, sand-lime brick and natural stone. The drill is available in diameters 5 to 32 mm and in working lengths of 50 to 950 mm.
The new fischer masonry drill Pointer-M is suitable for creating precise drill holes in delicate stone such as vertically perforated brick, aircrete, perforated sand-lime brick or roofing tiles. The drill prevents the stone structure from being damaged even if the drill is set to a hammering setting. The shortened SDS-Plus drill chuck reduces the machine’s impact on the drill, preventing partitions of perforated bricks from being damaged, for example.
The fixing elements can therefore be anchored in an optimal manner while guaranteeing a maximum retention force. The diamond-cut carbide plate with an aggressive cutting angle ensures a quick and safe drill progress in various materials. A large-volume flute guarantees the quick transport of the drilling dust from the drill hole. The drill is available in diameters 6 to 22 mm and in working lengths of 100 to 350 mm.
