Stainless steel, the material used during the production of the new fischer BWM FLH-R wall holder, has excellent energy properties compared to the traditionally used aluminium, thanks to its significantly lower thermal conductivity. Innovative triangular notches reduce the open cross-section and therefore the thermal conductivity of the wall bracket. That’s why the FLH-R received a Passivhaus certification without any additional thermal separation.

The wall holder’s profile, which was optimised using the Finite Element Method (FEM), increases the static performance. This means that a very thin sheet can be used, improving the physical properties, sustainably saving resources and reducing the system’s dead load. This has been confirmed by a report following comprehensive tests, which serve as the basis for the assessment (ETA) being sought for the product.

As usual, the wall holders can be used both as fixed points and as sliding points to perform various tasks in the established fischer BWM facade systems. Using stainless steel provides added advantages, as it is a non-combustible material.

The FLH-R thereby combines load-bearing capacity, thermal bridge reduction, fire protection and cost-effectiveness.
