The fischer SXRL surpasses the load values of similar frame fixings in most cases, with its elaborate technology being the key. Its long expanding part increases its load-bearing capacity. In porous construction materials, this works in such a way across two zones that the thin-walled webs are kept intact and the loads are transferred effectively.

In solid construction materials and aerated concrete, the two zones combine into one long expansion element and guarantee even and extensive load distribution in the substrate. It has a characteristic bending torque of 20.6 Nm.

The SXRL’s three anchorage depths regulated by the assessment (ETA) additionally increase its load-bearing capacity and make the frame fixing a product that can be used flexibly. Its applications in roof and wood construction comprise wooden facades, ceiling and roof substructures, timber beams and many more.

The anchorage depths are 50, 70 and 90 mm at diameters of 8 10, and 70 and 90 mm for the SXRL 14. The SXRL 14 is also approved for applications that are subject to pressure and is therefore suitable for facade constructions that are installed without a wall bracket from a distance, for example.

The usable lengths range from 10 to 110 mm (SXRL 8), from 10 to 240 mm (SXRL 10) and from 10 to 290 mm (SXRL 14). The screw’s head shape can optionally be selected from a choice of a safety screw with countersunk head or a hexagonal safety screw with preformed washer and a choice of zinc-plated and stainless steel (A4) materials.

The SXRL also scores points with its ease of assembly. The fixing is installed using the push-through method of installation. The long-ribbed anti-turn lock prevents the fixing from turning during installation and ensures additional safety, particularly when it is to be set deep.

fischer will be showcasing many other highlights from its wide range of frame fixings at the Dach+Holz fair. Overall, the SXR, SXS, FUR and SXRL types cover numerous applications in all common construction materials in the wood construction and carpentry/interior fittings trades, while being able to absorb high loads.
