A secure hold in Swiss canyons

Canyoning is an extreme sport that involves travelling down canyons, during which safety is of the utmost priority. Rusty old abseiling hooks had to be replaced with new ones and reliably anchored in the rock face along a canyoning route in Ticino, Switzerland. fischer’s FIS V Zero injection mortar was the safe choice for this challenging fastening task.

On track for successful fastenings

After the fischer channel system consisting of anchor channels and T-head bolts proved to be an international success, fischer is now launching the fixing solution in Germany. Facade technology makes history

Substructures and approximately 8,000 FZP undercut anchors by fischer BWM were used during the renovations of an important war memorial in Honolulu. BWM Dübel- und Montagetechnik GmbH has been part of the fischer Group of Companies from the northern Black Forest since 14th March 2018.

A stylish combination of steel and stone

The new Äril apartment building is an eyecatching feature in the area Norra Djurgårdsstaden in the Swedish capital city of Stockholm. Three different cladding materials adorn the versatile design of the rear-ventilated façade. Corten steel and slate panels were installed and securely anchored into the reinforced concrete load-bearing substrate with fischer BWM aluminium supporting structures (ATK) together with fischer SXR frame fixings. Wood with a red Scandinavian shade was also used.

New Jersey’s latest highlight with ingenious façade technology

The 99 Hudson Street skyscraper towers above the buildings in the state of New Jersey after exterior work was successfully completed in early November. Vertical stripes made of JMS Jura limestone stretch along the rear-ventilated curtain wall façade from the street level up to around a third of the building’s height. The reinforced concrete construction opens up to the surrounding area with its blue glass in the in-between parts, the upper floors and the crown. Around 110,000 fischer FZP II anchors were used to secure the limestone panels of the building envelope.
