The right chemistry between concrete and reinforcements

With the RebarConnect FIS RC II, the fischer Group of Companies is introducing an injection mortar that makes post-installed rebar connections safe and economical. fischer also offers a highly reliable injection mortar with the FIS EM Plus and its new, additional European Technical Approval (ETA), which allows post-installed rebar connections to be designed in accordance with the new TR 069 Technical Report by the European Organisation for Technical Approvals.

fischer is introducing the first universal injection mortar with an evaluated service life (ETA) of 100 years in concrete with the FIS V Plus. Its system components offer a wide range of applications. Among these is the stand-off installation system Thermax 12 and 16 to install fastenings through external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS) into the load-bearing base practically without thermal bridges. fischer has also launched the world’s first injection mortar with a patented formula entirely free of hazard labels with the FIS V Zero.

fischer BWM has launched a secure and energy-optimised solution to transfer loads from rear-ventilated rainscreen facades into the substrate with the new FLH-R wall holder. The innovation minimises thermal conductivity - as confirmed by its Passivhaus certificate - thanks to its stainless steel material and triangular notches that reduce the open cross-section.

A secure hold in Swiss canyons

Canyoning is an extreme sport that involves travelling down canyons, during which safety is of the utmost priority. Rusty old abseiling hooks had to be replaced with new ones and reliably anchored in the rock face along a canyoning route in Ticino, Switzerland. fischer’s FIS V Zero injection mortar was the safe choice for this challenging fastening task.

On track for successful fastenings

After the fischer channel system consisting of anchor channels and T-head bolts proved to be an international success, fischer is now launching the fixing solution in Germany.
