Award for biobased construction kit

Toy manufacturer fischertechnik wins the Toy Award, one of the most important seals of quality in the industry, with its new product Animal Friends. The fischertechnik Animal Friends construction kit impressed the jury with its sustainable concept in the "Sustainability" category. The building blocks of the construction kit for children aged six and up are made of 60 percent renewable raw materials. In recent years, the "Made in Germany" toy manufacturer has already launched a number of construction sets designed to promote the idea of sustainability.

fischertechnik is going into 2022 with plenty of innovative power. The made in Germany toy manufacturer is launching a construction kit containing building blocks made of renewable resources for the first time. Sustainable issues were once again a key area of focus over the past year. In doing so, fischertechnik illustrated topics such as renewable energies and robotics. The toy manufacturer has already won multiple awards for its pioneering products.

Once the model has been built and equipped with a standard PET bottle, nothing stands in the way of firefighting operations. The Firefighter construction kit (89.90 Euro, available from July) is suitable for children aged seven and up.
