fischertechnik attends robotics competition

Enthusiasm, skill and creativity: During the German final of the 2024 World Robot Olympiad (WRO) in Passau, Germany, 136 teams of kids and teenagers aged eight to 19 put their impressive technical talent to the test. The winners of the four categories will attend the international WRO final in Izmir, Turkey, this November. fischertechnik supported the junior competition organised by the TECHNIK BEGEISTERT association as its global partner.

Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of Amazon that provides cloud computing services, established a Builder Studio in Melbourne, Australia, to hone a culture of experimentation and drive innovation. The studio focuses on innovative technologies such as digital twins for the development of new products and process optimisation. fischertechnik’s Training Factory 4.0 is one of the demonstration and learning tools used at the Builder Studio.

Young technology champions break the world record

130 children from twelve primary schools in Karlsruhe, Germany, broke the world record by building a ball passing machine with a total length of 68.60 metres made of fischertechnik parts! The much-celebrated, successful attempt by Karlsruhe’s Gartenschule was part of the 9th fischertechnik Day held at primary schools in Karlsruhe and organised by the Karlsruhe technological initiative technika together with fischertechnik.
