fischer honored for best training

Once again, fischer has been honored for the outstanding quality of its training programs. The company has been awarded the seal of “Germany's best training companies 2019” based on a study by business magazine Focus Money and the Deutschland Test institute. In addition, fischer has been also crowned the “Industry winner” within its division.

fischer increases turnover to over 860 million euro

The fischer Group of Companies ended the 2018 financial year with great success. With a gross turnover of 864 million euros, the family business from Waldachtal in the Northern Black Forest exceeded the good figures from the previous year (812 million euro) by 52 million euro (plus seven per cent). In local currency terms (adjusted to allow for exchange rates), turnover even increased by two figures to 876 million euro (plus ten per cent). The fischer fixing systems division contributed more on average than all five company divisions, which also include fischer automotive systems, fischertechnik, fischer Consulting and LNT Automation.

For the eleventh time the German Sustainability Award foundation will be honouring companies that combine economic success with social responsibility and environmental protection in an exemplary manner. The fischer Group of Companies has reached the final stage for the first time. The winners of the German Sustainability Award will be announced on 7th December in Düsseldorf.

fischer founds Romanian subsidiary

The fischer Group of Companies has acquired its former importer Profix S.R.L. and is now running it as an independent subsidiary. The fixing specialist is increasing its presence in the Eastern European growth market with fischer Romania S.R.L. It is the 47th subsidiary of the fischer Group of Companies.
