Joint Craftnote app development by fischer and the GC-Group

The fischer Group of Companies and the GC-Group will be developing the successful Craftnote app for tradespeople together from now on. The app allows any information related to a project to be stored in a central location. Employees and anyone involved in the project can therefore exchange information via the app anywhere and at any time while always keeping up to date.

fischer wins German Sustainability Award

The fischer Group of Companies has won Europe’s biggest and most important sustainability award. The company won the German Sustainability Award in the “large businesses” category. Company owner Prof. Klaus Fischer accepted the award presented by the German Sustainability Award Foundation on the evening of the 22nd November 2019 in Düsseldorf.

fischer honored for best training

Once again, fischer has been honored for the outstanding quality of its training programs. The company has been awarded the seal of “Germany's best training companies 2019” based on a study by business magazine Focus Money and the Deutschland Test institute. In addition, fischer has been also crowned the “Industry winner” within its division.

fischer increases turnover to over 860 million euro

The fischer Group of Companies ended the 2018 financial year with great success. With a gross turnover of 864 million euros, the family business from Waldachtal in the Northern Black Forest exceeded the good figures from the previous year (812 million euro) by 52 million euro (plus seven per cent). In local currency terms (adjusted to allow for exchange rates), turnover even increased by two figures to 876 million euro (plus ten per cent). The fischer fixing systems division contributed more on average than all five company divisions, which also include fischer automotive systems, fischertechnik, fischer Consulting and LNT Automation.
