755 million Euro in revenue – fischer continues to grow

The group of companies recorded a significant growth in revenue of plus 6.2 percent in the 2016 financial year. Revenue reached 769 million Euro on a currency-adjusted basis. The internationalization strategy is being continued. fischer is able to boast a training ratio of nine percent, thereby training a disproportionately high number of apprentices. A revenue of over 800 million Euro is predicted for the current financial year.

fischer takes a share in LNT Automation

The fischer group of companies is increasing its activity in the field of electronic assembly with the absorption of LNT Automation GmbH. The company is an expert in the areas of development, production and delivery of electronic systems. The latter are playing an increasingly important role in the fischer divisions of fischer automotive systems and fischertechnik as well as in the building industry. For LNT, the absorption offers many promising opportunities for growth. fischer is taking over 90 percent of LNT. The company will remain independent within the fischer group of companies.

Prof. Klaus Fischer receives Global DIY Lifetime Award for his life’s work

Prof. Klaus Fischer, owner and Chairman of the Board of Management of the fischer group has been honoured with the Global DIY Lifetime Award 2016. The international trade and manufacturers’ associations, EDRA and Fediyma have presented this global award in recognition of his life’s work and his “outstanding contribution to the DIY sector worldwide”. The presentation took place on 8 June in front of 800 guests in the Stockholm City Hall, where the Nobel Prize is awarded every year.

On the Death of Prof. Artur Fischer

Gathered in silent mourning, the Fischer family and the fischer group of companies took their leave from the Group’s senior executive, Prof. Dr.-Ing. honorary Dr. honorary Senator Artur Fischer. After having lived a full life, he fell asleep peacefully at his home and surrounded by his family on Wednesday, January 27th, 2016 at the age of 96.
